REF008: unknown-page-url
Navigation to a page URL that the page configuration does not define
| Code | REF008 |
| Name | unknown-page-url |
| Category | References (REF) |
| Default severity | warning |
| Enabled by default | yes |
| Fix available | no |
| ign-lint equivalent | none |
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Checks the page of every navigate action against the page
configuration of the project (with inheritance), matching :param
segments the way Perspective does (/motors/:line matches
/motors/L1). Literal page URLs passed to system.perspective.navigate
in scripts (navigate('/motors/L1'), navigate(page=...)) are checked
too; a query string or fragment is ignored.
Why is this bad?
Section titled “Why is this bad?”Navigating to a URL no page serves shows Perspective's "page not found" screen.
External URLs (url navigation), URLs with {...} placeholders and
projects that inherit from a project outside the workspace are not
reported.
Example
Section titled “Example”{"type": "nav", "config": {"page": "/motor/L1"}}Use instead (the page is configured as /motors/:line):
{"type": "nav", "config": {"page": "/motors/L1"}}Generated from the rule metadata by iglint generate-docs; iglint rule REF008 prints the same page in the terminal. Source: docs/rules/REF008.md.
