TAG005: invalid-alarm-bind-type
Alarm property bound with a bind type alarms do not accept
| Code | TAG005 |
| Name | invalid-alarm-bind-type |
| Category | Tags and gateway (TAG) |
| Default severity | error |
| Enabled by default | yes |
| Fix available | no |
| ign-lint equivalent | none |
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Checks the bindType of bound alarm properties. Alarms accept exactly
Tag, Expression and UDTParameter (with the bound value in value);
tag properties use parameter with binding, which alarms reject.
Why is this bad?
Section titled “Why is this bad?”The gateway cannot read the alarm configuration: the property keeps its default (a setpoint of 0, an empty label) or the alarm fails to load.
Example
Section titled “Example”{"name": "High", "setpointA": {"bindType": "parameter", "binding": "{MaxSpeed}"}}Use instead:
{"name": "High", "setpointA": {"bindType": "UDTParameter", "value": "MaxSpeed"}}Generated from the rule metadata by iglint generate-docs; iglint rule TAG005 prints the same page in the terminal. Source: docs/rules/TAG005.md.
